 1. Independent films are usually produced by smaller production companies or individual filmmakers.  2. IDB is about a 59 yea old man that fights forces to receive benefits from the government.  3. Ken Loach directed IDB and is important because it is owned by the governor which supports labour   and the film is directed to the coservatives.  4. In my opinion IDB was a successful film due to the film making 5.5X its budget which is outstanding as Ken Loach the director was aiming to make his $2 million back but instead was shocked by his amazing success. On the other hand, Black widow which had its budget as $200 million and only made $600 dollars which is 3x its

Black widow was produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures.  2.  Most major media companies are conglomerates that own a range of smaller companies (called subsidiaries). An example of this is Disney owning Marvel. This links to Black Widow due to the film being produced by Marvel Studios.  3. The film had alot of cgi which requires alot of money , also the film had a budget of $3mil . The aspects of the trailer such as the high quality breaks it down for the audience.  4. Black Widow was promoted by traditional methods such as posters and teaser trailers on TV in cinema.  5. $288.5  6. The performance of Black Widow, especially in this moment in time, means almost nothing for the overall fate of the MCU. Looking at the overseas earnings thus far, they are merely pretty bad.
