 1. The advert was produced in the 1950's.  2. In the 1950's women were presented as house wives and to stay in the house and do daily domestic chores, This product affects society as it is targeted for women and is meant for women. In the 1950's it was a patriarchal society and women were often victims and in those times it was normal for women to be house wives. Overtime society has changed as women started taking actions for equal rights and in modern society some may argue that women still dont have as much rights as men , however in mosts opinion, it has. 3. In these ads, women are shown as having control over their own decisions and as being able to change other people's behaviours and thoughts. 8. The Key conventions are is the pack of skittles which says skittles and portrays a rainbow made of skittles behind the pack of skittles that has 4 different colours which are bright, yellow, purple, green and red which all display a energetic feeling.
