7. Women have recently been portrayed as doctors, professors, athletes, business owners and other roles that were previously associated with men. In these ads, women are shown as having control over their own decisions and as being able to change other people's behaviours and thoughts.

8.Stereotypes are also prevalent in every day media. Women are often portrayed solely as homemakers and carers of the family, dependent on men, or as objects of male attention.

9. Women have entered the workforce in large numbers, and men have become more involved in household and childcare responsibilities. The impact of these changes on both men and women has been mostly positive.
