Blog feedback and Learner Response
WWW: It’s great that your blog is set up and you have some good work posted already. Your fruit bowl looks great – through I’m not sure what palette it is for? A bit of text here would really help. You have also posted everything now that we have established the situation with plagiarism. Remember, plagiarism means copying work that is not your own – if you do this for coursework you are disqualified from the GCSE and if you do this at university you get thrown out and lose your tuition fees. I appreciate that in this situation another student copied you but this may not save you in future if you were the subject of an investigation and you willingly gave the student your work.
EBI: Three areas to develop. Firstly, ensure your written English is perfect – capital letters, sentence structure etc. Secondly, you need to work on the depth and detail of your media analysis. Think about what effect the product is having on the audience.
Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?
1. I believe my strongest work since September to October is denotation and connotation because its the one piece of work with the most writing.
2.I think my weakest piece of work is my fruit bowl as its up on my blog for effects otherwise, nothing else.
3.I would need courage and responsibility to carry on my media course work.
