mise en scene

lighting:

in the first scene, the lighting is set to a dark gloomy area , supposed to be horrifying. The scene diverts to 4 kids in their near teens playing a game with dark lighting then switching to light when the mum enters.

action:

in the first scene we see a man running with a petrified expression, looking back ever few seconds as if hes getting chased by someone/something. The second scene is a few kids playing games then one of the kids running then backing out a sniper.

costume:

we see man with a shirt with an undone button , in the next scene we see 4 average high school boys in their cosy clothes. what we can infer from this is the dramatic switch of scenes and the difference between scene 1 and 2.
